Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to support hotel operations and lead diverse teams across departments. You will ensure guest queries are handled gracefully and standards are consistently met, serving as a positive role model for staff.

The role requires confidence in handling complaints, managing rotas and wages, and using EPOS systems in a fast-paced hotel environment. We offer all-year-round employment and career progression within our hotels.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or departmental management in hospitality.
• Proven ability to provide excellent guest service.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Experience training and inducting new staff.
• Comfort with cash handling and wage management.
• Proficient with EPOS systems and bar operations.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day hotel operations across departments.
• Lead by example and motivate team members.
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Coordinate with managers to maintain operational standards.
• Oversee staff rotas and wage budgets.
