Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel and ensuring consistent standards are maintained.
  • Providing a positive, helpful and welcoming experience for our guests.
  • Dealing with guest complaints and difficult situations calmly, professionally and appropriately.
  • Supporting departmental managers and teams to ensure operational standards are achieved.

  • Ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed throughout the hotel.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive approach, even when working under pressure.
  • Promoting and upholding Daish’s values and helping to protect the reputation of our brand.

What are we looking for?

This is a great opportunity for an experienced departmental manager looking to progress, or an experienced manager ready for a new challenge within the hospitality industry.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Positive, enthusiastic and committed to achieving consistently high standards.
  • Confident in dealing with guest complaints and challenging situations.
  • Professional and calm under pressure.
  • Experienced in managing, motivating and developing a team.
  • Experienced in staff training and induction.
  • Confident using EPOS systems, particularly within bar operations.
  • Experienced in cash handling and management.
  • Experienced in managing staff rotas and wage budgets.
  • Knowledgeable about Health & Safety requirements.
  • A strong communicator who can build positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Able to lead by example and act as a positive role model.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service and supporting the values of Daish’s.

At Daish’s, we believe that our people are just as important as our guests. That's why we offer more than just a job.

When you join us, you'll benefit from:

  • Career progression opportunities across our hotels and wider business.
  • £100 refer-a-friend bonus.
  • An extra paid day off for your birthday.
  • Access to mental wellbeing and financial support to help you when you need it.
  • A friendly, inclusive and supportive working environment.
  • Staff, Friends & Family Holiday Discount – enjoy a Daish’s holiday from just £105 for you, your family and friends, including accommodation, breakfast, dinner, coach travel and entertainment.
