Job summary

Duke of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Team Member to help keep bedrooms and public areas clean, comfortable and welcoming. You’ll play a key role in creating memorable stays by paying attention to detail and maintaining high standards throughout the hotel.

No formal experience is required as training is provided; a positive attitude and team spirit are essential. The role offers flexible hours, staff meals, generous hotel discounts, birthday leave, and other RBH

Responsibilities

• Preparing guest bedrooms to a high standard, ensuring every room is clean, comfortable and ready to welcome our guests.
• Making beds, refreshing bathrooms, replenishing guest amenities and paying attention to the little details that make a big difference.
• Keeping corridors, public areas and other hotel spaces clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure bedrooms are ready on time for arriving guests.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damaged items or anything that could affect the guest experience.
• Following cleaning procedures, COSHH guidelines and health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Supporting colleagues during busy periods, bringing a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
• Taking pride in your work and helping create those all-important first impressions that keep guests coming back.
