FOOD & BEVERAGE / GUEST SERVICE ASSISTANT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for friendly and enthusiastic Guest Service Assistants to join the team at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel as we prepare for the next chapter of this iconic Plymouth hotel.
We are recruiting for one full-time position, as well as a number of part-time and casual positions. All roles require regular evening and weekend availability.

This role will have a strong food and beverage focus, with most of your shifts spent supporting the hotel’s restaurant, bar, weddings and events. However, as part of our flexible hotel team, you will also be trained to work on reception and may be asked to cover reception shifts when required.

You will play an important part in creating memorable guest experiences across the hotel, from serving food and drinks to welcoming guests at reception.

This role requires regular evening and weekend work, so applicants must be available during these times. Shift patterns will vary depending on the needs of the hotel and its events calendar.

The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is one of Plymouth’s most recognisable and historic hotels. With its impressive Victorian architecture, elegant function rooms and central location, the hotel has welcomed guests for generations.

This is an exciting time to join the team and play a part in shaping the hotel’s future. You will work alongside passionate colleagues who are committed to delivering warm, friendly service and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is managed by RBH Hospitality Management. Our people are our greatest asset, and our approach to diversity, health and wellbeing, sustainability and individuality is one of the reasons RBH is recognised as one of the Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality.

Ongoing training and development will be provided, including training across both food and beverage and reception duties.
