Job summary

Hilton in Sheffield is looking for a friendly Guest Service Assistant to welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide helpful local guidance to ensure a memorable stay. The role is 24 hours per week over 3 days, with shifts from 6.45am to 3.15pm or 2.45pm to 11.15pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break.

You’ll work as part of a busy hotel team, staying calm under pressure and delivering great service.

• Handle check-ins and check-outs and guest needs.
• Be the go-to person for questions about the hotel and local areas.
• Serve simple meals and drinks.
• Identify potential sales leads and upsell where appropriate.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage calls, emails, and reservations efficiently.
• Go the extra mile for special requests to enhance guest stays.
