Job summary

Pareto is recruiting for a Trainee Account Manager in the UK. The role involves learning the company and marketplace, supporting senior team members, and progressively taking on responsibility for new client relationships.

Initial focus on lower spend accounts with opportunities to grow through prospecting and strategic outreach. After 9–12 months, you will begin meeting clients in person and taking ownership of business relationships, with strong progression to senior roles and leadership

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Ambitious and determined.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of Pareto offerings and the marketplace.
• Support senior account managers with up and cross selling into larger accounts.
• Independently manage and sell to lower spend accounts.
• Develop relationships with new clients via prospecting, LinkedIn and targeted emails.
• Understand customer needs and articulate the right solutions.
• After 9–12 months, start meeting clients face to face and manage business relationships.
