Job summary

King Highway Products in Market Harborough is seeking a sharp, organised Sales & Production Coordinator to join our vehicle-building operation. You will support the sales and production teams throughout the full build process, from receiving a customer order and setting up the build records through to vehicle registration, final documentation and customer handover.

Previous automotive or manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to use initiative, solve problems and think outside the box.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to manage several priorities in a busy environment; good Outlook/Excel knowledge.
• Previous administrative or customer-service experience is desirable.
• Experience in automotive, engineering, manufacturing or production administration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain new vehicle-build records, WIP records, serial numbers and build folders.
• Keep the sales order book, chassis delivery schedule and production information accurate.
• Coordinate customer orders with Sales Specialist to ensure complete information and documentation.
• Assist with production scheduling and day-to-day administrative queries.
• Raise purchase orders, process sales invoices and maintain spreadsheets.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers, vehicle livery, IVA inspections and PDIs.
• Complete new-vehicle registration and taxation administration; file documentation properly.
