Job summary

Owen Daniels in Coventry is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator to manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery in a leading automotive manufacturing environment.

This permanent role offers weekday hours 8am–4:45pm, with early finish on Friday; the successful candidate will support production and liaise with internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience working with OEM manufacturers in automotive.
• Experience in logistics or planning roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP, CRM and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process orders from receipt to delivery, including shipments and documentation.
• Act as primary contact for customer inquiries on orders and deliveries.
• Provide quotations, schedule management activities, and coordinate with production.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve complaints.

Job Description:

• Processing orders from receipt to delivery; including arranging shipments and collections, and creating relevant documentation such as picking notes, delivery notes, invoices, etc.
• Building strong customer relationships and acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding orders and deliveries.
• Providing quotations to customers who have submitted enquiries, scheduling management activities and working with the internal production team.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure top-notch service and timely delivery.
• Providing quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively resolving customer complaint.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience working with OEM manufacturers or OEM automotive.
• Previous experience working in a logistics or planning role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and ERP/MRP systems, CRM and SAP experience preferred.
