Job summary

UBT is seeking a commercially astute Sales Director to own the customer acquisition strategy from market positioning through to conversion and long-term account growth. You will report directly to the CEO and build a high-performing commercial team.

You will develop strategic routes to market, including frameworks, tenders and partnerships, elevating the design consultancy proposition to win high-value contracts across education and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven success in senior sales, commercial or business development leadership in project-led B2B environments.
• Ability to engage with C-Suite and boards.
• Strong track record of securing high-value opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy with the CEO.
• Own all customer acquisition activity and build a reliable pipeline.
• Lead marketing, branding, campaigns and lead generation.
• Drive a consultative sales approach linking design consultancy to delivery.
• Lead major opportunities and secure long-term relationships.
• Build and lead a high-performing commercial team.
• Contribute to wider business strategy as part of the SLT.
