Job summary

Universal Business Team is seeking a commercially astute Sales Director to own the customer acquisition strategy and drive growth across interior fit-out and modular build projects in the education sector.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build a high-performing commercial team, engage with C‑Suite stakeholders, and secure high-value contracts through consultative selling, partnerships and targeted marketing activities. This is a leadership role at a growth-focused, ambitious company.

Qualifications

• Proven senior sales/commercial leadership in project-led B2B environments (construction, fit-out, modular build).
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement with C-Suite and board-level executives.
• Experience developing routes to market via sales, frameworks, partnerships and tendering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy alongside the CEO.
• Own all customer acquisition activity, including inbound/outbound sales, framework agreements, tender opportunities, partnerships and marketing.
• Lead marketing, brand positioning, digital campaigns, LinkedIn activity and lead generation to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
