Job summary

Maydencroft seeks a senior marketing and business development leader to shape an integrated strategy driving growth and profitability. You will develop priority market propositions, build a strong pipeline and lead cross-functional teams across marketing, BD and operations.

The role is hybrid and UK-based, offering a competitive salary and a broad benefits package. Travel to Maydencroft locations and client sites is required as part of delivering on growth initiatives, CRM and performance

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior B2B marketing, business development or growth role.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing, lead generation and relationship-led development.
• Commercial judgement and ability to prioritise high-value opportunities.
• Experience using CRM, pipeline and performance data to improve decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated marketing and business development strategy aligned with Maydencroft's growth and profitability objectives.
• Identify and prioritise target sectors, customer groups and commercial opportunities with clear propositions for priority markets.
• Lead the development of a strong qualified pipeline through a structured, company-wide approach to business development.
• Build senior relationships with priority clients, prospective customers, strategic partners and industry contacts.
• Work with senior and operational teams to identify, qualify and progress significant commercial opportunities.
• Identify new sectors, partnerships, routes to market and opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships.
• Lead Maydencroft's marketing across digital, content, events, PR and other relevant channels.
• Strengthen the company's brand, positioning and profile within priority markets.
• Oversee the website, digital presence, campaigns and lead-generation activity.
• Lead the development of high-value case studies, thought leadership, sector campaigns and sales materials.
• Develop Maydencroft's approach to CRM, lead management and commercial pipeline visibility.
• Establish clear processes for capturing, qualifying and progressing opportunities, improving CRM adoption and commercial data quality.
• Own performance measurement across lead quality, pipeline, conversion, revenue contribution and return on investment.
• Provide clear reporting, insight and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
• Direct external marketing and specialist resource and recommend how the function should evolve as Maydencroft grows.
