Job summary

Euroclad Group in Cardiff, UK is seeking a proactive Business Development Assistant to support the Business Development and External Sales Teams. You will maximise sales by coordinating opportunities and developing prospects, and by using the CRM to progress projects from initial inquiry to handover.

Qualifications

• Experience using CRM systems to manage project leads.
• Strong telephone and communication skills.
• Organizational and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• To manage a system for the effective monitoring of existing opportunities and to follow through their subsequent conversion into ‘Hot’ sales leads.
• To use the CRM system for the progression of projects prior to transfer of ownership to the relevant sales team.
• To evaluate information requests arising from the marketing program and maximize opportunities.
• Identify and qualify future opportunities using Barbour ABI and other sources.
• Provide a monthly report on new business leads and projects by sector.
• Liaise with internal and external sales teams on progress and handover of project leads.
• Support the BD Manager in attaining new business targets.
