Job summary

Jensten Group in the UK is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to manage a portfolio of long‑standing clients within our Trainsure team, while driving new business and growth. You’ll handle renewals, tailor risk solutions, and build trusted insurer relationships.

The role is based in Shipley with a hybrid arrangement once settled, reporting to the Managing Director. A strong commercial insurance background and proactive approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial insurance, ideally broking, schemes or specialist products.
• Experience handling clients and working closely with insurers.
• Underwriting knowledge desirable, within schemes or insurer environments.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive, relationship-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive high retention.
• Manage renewals proactively with tailored recommendations and service.
• Generate new business opportunities via cross-selling, upselling, referrals and outreach.
• Present bespoke insurance and risk management solutions aligned to client risks.
• Increase quote activity and support growth of the Trainsure book.
• Understand client operations and sector risks to provide meaningful advice.
• Ensure FCA compliance and follow established processes.
• Maintain documentation and records, including Acturis where applicable.
