Job summary

MCR is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for their client in Brierley Hill. The role focuses on calling lapsed and existing customers, handling inquiries, quoting stock, and building strong client relationships to drive growth.

You will work with the sales and purchasing teams, process orders, take inbound calls, and generate new leads. You must be computer literate, with experience in CRM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must have previous sales experience, ideally within the Metals industry, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Confident and articulate telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
• A passionate and driven mindset, with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment and adapt to changing market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Calling both lapsed and existing customers as well as potential customers.
• Supporting customers with their enquiries and quoting them in a timely and efficient manner.
• Utilise industry knowledge and expertise to effectively communicate the value of our stock range and processing capabilities.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with the internal and external sales team to drive growth and contribute to the overall success of the business.
• Order processing own orders.
• Taking inbound calls.
• Generating new leads and business.
• Look into sorting own purchasing for smaller items, work closely with the rest of the sales team & purchasing to bring in larger volumes of material based on usage.
• Manage own customers accounts
• Self-motivate to achieve individual and team targets
• Logging all information on the company bespoke CRM system, stock system and using MS Office programs, so must be computer literate.
