Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a Head of Commercial Growth Services to lead a joined-up commercial engine aligning six teams under one plan. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will unite the function and set shared measures across commercial strategy, analytics, demand generation, bids, brand and communications.

Qualifications

• Six-figure leadership experience in a multi-disciplinary commercial, growth, business development or marketing function at senior level.
• Credibility and influence with Partners and executive stakeholders in a partnership model.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budget ownership and building investment cases.
• Experience leading change, including adopting new systems such as CRM and driving data-led decisions.
• Practical experience applying AI or automation to improve how a commercial function operates, ideally in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Commercial Growth Services strategy, operating model and annual plan aligned to growth priorities.
• Lead, coach and hold to account the six Heads who run the function’s teams.
• Ensure end-to-end pipeline visibility from brand and demand through to meetings, pursuits and wins.
• Drive a digital-first approach, with AI, automation and data by default.
• Own the function’s budget, cost base and ROI and report on performance with clear takeaways.
