Michael Page (UK) is supporting a privately owned, multi-site business in recruiting a Management Accountant to join the team in Denbighshire. The role focuses on producing management accounts for several group entities, month-end close, and delivering robust financial controls and reporting.

The successful candidate will have AAT or ACCA/CIMA qualifications (or EQV), strong Excel and ERP skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes across multiple entities.

Qualificações

• AAT, or ACCA/CIMA qualification, or qualified by experience.
• Experience producing management accounts independently.
• Strong in reconciliations, journals, accruals and month-end processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with good systems capability.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities.
• Produce P&L, balance sheets, journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Own month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations across entities.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and CAPEX schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and flag funding needs.
• Monitor performance vs budgets and investigate variances.
• Support year-end audits and external advisors.
• Deliver process improvement and automation projects.
• Assist with integration of acquired businesses and locations.
• Collaborate with ops to improve reporting accuracy and controls.
