Job summary

Michael Page is representing a growing multi-site business in Denbighshire seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant. The role offers significant autonomy, exposure to senior leadership and ownership of key finance projects.

Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, producing P&L and balance sheets, and driving process improvements while supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience.
• Experience producing management accounts independently.
• Confident with reconciliations, journals, accruals, and month-end processes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to improve financial controls.
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and managing priorities.
• Advanced Excel skills and systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities.
• Produce P&L, balance sheet, journals, accruals and prepayments with schedules.
• Own month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations across entities.
