Job summary

MorePeople is recruiting a Grower for a progressive UK horticultural business in Warwickshire. You will take ownership of crop quality, manage irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease control, growth regulation, and environmental monitoring.

The role demands strong technical ability and a hands-on approach to day-to-day nursery operations. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a commercial nursery, with a passion for plants and a drive to improve growing standards.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years' experience within a commercial nursery or growing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease management, and plant growth regulation.
  • Confidence making growing decisions across different crop types.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease control, growth regulation and environmental monitoring.
  • Identify crop issues and implement timely solutions to optimise plant health and quality.
  • Collaborate with nursery team to drive crop performance and learn from outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of crop quality throughout production cycles.
