MorePeople is recruiting for an Assistant Grower to join a leading UK horticultural business. You will support a modern protected growing operation, helping optimise plant health, productivity and quality on a day-to-day basis.

In this hands-on role you’ll work with advanced climate and irrigation systems, analyse data and contribute to crop management while developing towards a Grower position in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in protected cropping or commercial growing environments.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of commercial protected crops.
• Monitor crop health, irrigation and nutrition management.
• Assist with yield forecasting and crop registration.
• Conduct pest and disease assessments and report findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the operation to deliver plans.
