Nicholas Associates is seeking a Senior Metrology Engineer to lead metrology across the group, standardising inspection practices and driving improvements. The role requires PC-DMIS expertise and CMM programming leadership to optimise measurement times and accuracy.

You will travel to understand how each site inspects components and help implement best practices across UK operations near Derby, Durham, Basildon, and surrounding areas; hybrid working supported.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced PC-DMIS software user.
• Experienced CMM programmer, lead specialist in metrology.
• Keen interest in latest metrology techniques and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead metrology strategy across the group and standardise processes.
• Diagnose measurement issues and propose improved methods.
• Coordinate with sites and travel to understand inspection across locations.
