Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Metrology Engineer in Derby with hybrid work arrangements. You will head the Metrology department and decide the best methods to measure and inspect components we manufacture. The role requires offline programming experience and familiarity with PC-DMIS.

You will be the lead technical expert onsite for all metrology activities, including exposure to automated inspection systems and non-contact measurement technologies.

Qualifications

• Offline programming experience required.
• Experience with PC-DMIS software is beneficial.
• Exposure to automated inspection systems or laser scanners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Metrology department onsite and define measurement strategies.
• Drive decisions on how to measure and inspect machined components.
