Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Senior Metrology Engineer - Group Metrology Specialist to drive metrology best practices across multiple UK sites. The role involves leading PC-DMIS based CMM programming and standardising inspection methods across the group.

The successful candidate will travel to sites to understand current inspection processes and implement advanced metrology techniques, ensuring alignment with group strategy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced user of PC-DMIS Software.
• Experience as a CMM Programmer leading metrology across groups is essential.
• Strong interest in evolving metrology techniques and tools.
• Confident communicator able to diagnose and propose new measurement methods.
• Exposure to automated inspection systems, laser scanners, CT or non-contact metrology.

Responsibilities

• Lead SME for metrology across the group and set strategy.
• Drive standardisation of metrology across sites.
• Keep up-to-date with latest measuring technologies and implement best practices.
• Travel as required to understand site inspection methods.
