Job summary

LHH has a Manchester-based client seeking an Audit & Group Financial Reporting Manager to own consolidation and IFRS-compliant reporting across a multi-entity group. The role leads intercompany eliminations, transition to monthly reporting, and supports statutory accounts and board reporting.

Candidates should be ACA/ACCA/CA/CIMA qualified with strong IFRS knowledge and proven group audit experience. Excellent stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong IFRS and technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience producing consolidated accounts within a multi-entity group.
• Proven background supporting or leading Group audits.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to build relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Group Reporting & Consolidation: Lead the Group consolidation process under IFRS and prepare consolidated reporting.
• Statutory Reporting & Audit: Coordinate year-end reporting and liaise with external auditors.
• Technical Accounting: Provide guidance on acquisitions, disposals, restructures and IFRS compliance.
• Acquisitions & Business Change: Lead acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration.
• Process Improvement: Enhance reporting, consolidation and control processes and drive systems improvements.
