Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established organisation to recruit a Group HR Advisor on a maternity cover contract. Based in Basingstoke this is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 from home) with a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 plus bonus.

You will support the full employee lifecycle, advising managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations, while GDPR compliant processes and HR systems are maintained.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance in line with UK employment law and best practice.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Lead or support HR projects across engagement, wellbeing, EDI and change initiatives.
• Deliver training and act as a key point of contact for HR queries.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and onboarding.
• Maintain and improve HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Support on ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance.

Reporting into a personable and knowledgeable Head of HR, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business operating across a range of sectors, offering a collaborative and fast-paced working environment.

The role:
