Location: Barnet (travel across London and South East required)

Salary: £65K - £70K

Daniel Owen is proud to represent a social housing contractor in the Barnet area who is looking for a Group Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves leading company-wide H&S standardisation, process modernisation, and embedding best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage SHEQ Advisors to support projects in the delivery of the company's SHEQ strategy and ensure managers assume full responsibility for their activities.
  • Lead the H&S strategy from the Barnet office, with operational oversight across London and the South East.
  • Standardise H&S procedures across the company, modernise processes, and embed best practices.
  • Balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day site support.
Key Knowledge and Requirements:
  • Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Social Housing
  • Experience in managing teams (advisors reporting into the manager)
  • Current full UK driving license
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • Experience with Planned Maintenance
