We seek a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Enterprise Security with expertise in Azure and AWS to join our Infrastructure Engineering team at Centrica. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure solutions, with a solid understanding of security best practices and infrastructure as code.

Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Windsor

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure infrastructure on Azure and AWS
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards
• Conduct security assessments and audits, recommending remediation
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security into infrastructure
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis
• Stay updated with security trends and technologies
• Provide expertise in security investigations and incident management

Technical Skills:

• Expertise with Defender for Endpoint and XDR policies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender platforms and Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation
• Knowledge of security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell DSC
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect)

Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented attitude

Senior Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support team members
