Job Description:

London South Bank University (LSBU) is one of London's largest and oldest universities with 31,000 students and approximately 2,000 staff. Established in 1892, LSBU offers vocational, accredited, and professionally recognized education. The university manages a large estate portfolio across Central London, including over 20 buildings totaling 120,000m². LSBU has invested significantly in its estate and has ambitious development plans.

The Group Head of Asset Management (M&E) will oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and asset replacement management for the LSBU Group Estate through outsourced facilities management providers. The role involves planning and implementing improvements and upgrades to M&E assets, aligned with the estate master planning and organizational development, covering campuses in Southwark, Havering, Croydon, Lambeth, and Southwark.

This position is suited for candidates with a proven track record in managing large, diverse estate operational teams and outsourced contracts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of building services, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, team leadership, and the ability to prioritize effectively within budget constraints.
