Job summary

Weir plc in Glasgow seeks a Group FP&A Manager to lead group planning, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning for a FTSE 100 organisation. You will manage a team of accountants and work with treasury, investor relations, and external auditors.

You'll drive insightful reporting, capital allocation guidance and board-ready analyses, while embedding strong controls and continuous improvement across Group Finance. Hybrid working and global collaboration are core to the role.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA) qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong FP&A leadership experience within a complex, listed organisation.
• Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning and financial modelling.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group FP&A function with coaching and development for accountants and trainees.
• Own forecasting, budgeting and five-year planning; deliver timely executive materials.
• Develop complex financial models and scenario analyses for decisions and reporting.
• Engage with Executive Leadership, Investor Relations and external auditors.
• Embed internal controls and drive continuous improvement across Group Finance.
• Occasional travel to support stakeholder engagement and investor activities.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and zero harm within the team.
