Job summary

The Weir Group in Glasgow, UK is seeking a Group FP&A Manager to lead the Group's planning, forecasting, budgeting and long-range financial strategy within a FTSE 100 organisation.

You will manage a team of qualified accountants, collaborate with Treasury, Investor Relations and divisional finance teams, and deliver insightful reporting for the CFO and Board while driving continuous improvement and compliance. Hybrid work arrangement; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with five years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong FP&A leadership experience within a complex, listed organisation.
• Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, financial modelling and consolidation.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group FP&A function, coaching a team of accountants.
• Own forecasting, budgeting and five-year strategic planning for the Group.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models and reporting for the CFO/Board.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Treasury and divisional Finance teams.
• Drive process improvements and ensure internal controls and accounting standards compliance.
• Travel occasionally to support stakeholder engagement and investor activities.
