Goodman Masson is partnering with a market-leading Technology business to find a new Group Financial Controller.
With several acquisitions planned, the business aims to exit its current PE investor within the next few years. Therefore, they seek a high-calibre Group Financial Controller/Director to bring rigor and structure to the finance function, professionalize the business further, and support the upcoming exit and investment lifecycle.
The role involves acting as a business partner to senior leadership, overseeing all financial matters including banking relationships, liaising with the PE investor, and managing recruitment, development, and retention within the finance team. The position reports to a highly experienced CFO.
Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, group consolidation, tax, transformation, M&A, and corporate development teams. The role also provides technical accounting support, strategy development, commercial input on sales and marketing, and development of financial models to optimize business efficiency.
Ideal candidates are ambitious, technically proficient, and qualified accountants with hands-on experience as a Group Financial Controller. Experience in TMT sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
Applicants must be ACA qualified, have experience working under PE ownership, and possess strong M&A expertise. These criteria are essential.
