THG in Manchester is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead group-wide compliance, financial reporting and audits. You will oversee a team of five, coordinate with senior stakeholders and drive improvements in controls and processes across IFRS reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and auditing experience.
• Experience with large corporate and/or listed businesses.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fasts-paced environment adaptability and strong planning skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Ability to build networks across the business.
• Experience leading audits and regulatory reporting.

Responsabilités

• Head up group-wide compliance responsibilities, project planning and managing a team.
• Prepare technical management papers for Board and Audit Committee.
• Be the key contact for auditors, leading THG Group audits and reporting.
• Own relationships with specialist advisors.
• Review and deliver IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Lead one-off projects and strengthen financial controls.
• Lead technology implementations to automate processes.
• Direct and mentor junior team members.
• Build networks with divisional teams, FP&A, legal and tax.
• Report to the Group CFO and Deputy CFO on key issues.
