THG, a global ecommerce group based in Manchester, is hiring a Head of Financial Reporting to lead group-wide compliance and IFRS reporting. You will report to the Group Finance Director and oversee a five-person team, interacting with senior stakeholders across divisions, tax, treasury, and investor relations.

You will drive high-quality financial statements, manage audits, and spearhead automation initiatives to strengthen controls within THG Finance.

Formación

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 5+ years post qualified experience.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting experience.
• Experience with large corporate and/or listed businesses preferred.
• Strong communication skills across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Keen to build strong networks across the business.

Responsabilidades

• Head up Group-wide compliance responsibilities and manage a team to deliver each workstream.
• Prepare technical management papers documenting accounting decisions for Board/Audit Committee.
• Be the key contact for auditors, leading the Group audit delivery.
• Own relationships with specialist advisors.
• Review and deliver high-quality IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Lead the implementation of technology solutions to automate processes.
• Direct and mentor junior team members.
• Build networks across divisional FP&A, legal and tax teams.
• Report to the Group CFO on key issues.
