Job summary

Industry & Commerce is seeking a highly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional to join the finance function in a senior Group Financial Controller role. You will report to the CFO and work closely with the CEO, taking full ownership of financial and management reporting and driving growth and change initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead financial controls, statutory compliance, cash management and covenant oversight, while providing commercial leadership on key contracts and loyalty

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in a Group Financial Controller role.
• Experience in leisure, hospitality or consumer sectors desirable.
• Strong knowledge of statutory, tax and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group financial control, reporting, risk and governance, ensuring robust controls.
• Lead statutory, tax and regulatory compliance activities with HMRC, auditors and banks.
• Own the group balance sheet, cash flow, liquidity and covenant management.
• Provide commercial leadership on contracts, partnerships and loyalty programmes.
• Drive operational excellence across the Finance centre and Procurement.
• Champion finance transformation, leading systems and process improvements.
