Artemis Human Capital is delighted to partner with a high-growth technology group to appoint a Northern Ireland-based Group Financial Controller. The role is remote with occasional Belfast attendance, and offers direct CFO exposure, group reporting and international consolidation.

You'll own IFRS accounting, treasury, controls and investor reporting, shaping the financial strategy as the business scales. Strong IFRS, consolidation experience and autonomy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualified with 6+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge in a tech business.
• Experience in group consolidations, external audits, statutory reporting.
• Proficient with ERP systems; open to AI and automation.
• Commercial mindset, autonomous, growth-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead group reporting, consolidation, month-end close and statutory compliance.

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a high-growth, VC backed technology business to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for a Northern Ireland based finance professional to join a growing international business, with direct CFO exposure and scope to influence both financial reporting and wider commercial strategy.

This is a broad, hands-on role combining group reporting, technical IFRS accounting and statutory compliance with meaningful exposure to commercial decision-making, investor-facing reporting and the financial strategy of a growing international business.

As the business continues to scale, you’ll play a key role in strengthening financial reporting, controls and processes, while helping ensure the finance function is equipped for its next phase of growth and evolving corporate objectives.

The role offers full remote working for someone based in Northern Ireland, with occasional attendance in Belfast and travel to other group locations.

The Role

• Lead group reporting, consolidation, month-end close and statutory compliance.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified, with at least 6 years’ post-qualification experience.

• Confident working with ERP systems and data, with a genuine appetite to embrace AI and automation.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable operating with autonomy.
• Interested in contributing beyond financial reporting, with exposure to a business navigating significant growth and strategic change.

• £70,000–£85,000 base salary
