Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant experience in finance or an accounting practice.
  • Displayed strong technical experience with IFRS 15.
  • Good understanding of financial reporting practices in business environments.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on technical accounting matters and prepare IFRS Accounting Papers.
  • Manage the Group Month-End Close process, including Group consolidation.
  • Ensure compliance by contributing to internal control and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Skills

Qualified Accountant with experience in finance or an accounting practice
Strong technical experience with IFRS 15
Good understanding of financial reporting and processes
Knowledge and experience of ERP system processes
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)

Group Financial Reporting Manager

Location: Oxford, GB

Company: OXB - an innovation‑driven organization specialising in viral vector development and manufacturing for cell and gene therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on technical accounting matters and prepare IFRS Accounting Papers, ensuring external reporting compliance.
  • Manage the Group Month‑End Close process, including Group consolidation for CDMO operations.
  • Report on Group departments, maintain the Group Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
  • Lead Group taxation activities, including transfer‑pricing and other tax matters.
  • Own Group Treasury functions, such as foreign‑exchange hedging.
  • Contribute to internal control compliance and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the Global business to support compliant consolidation of externally reported numbers.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant with experience in finance or an accounting practice.
  • Strong technical experience with IFRS 15.
  • Good understanding of financial reporting and processes in a business environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of ERP system processes and transactions.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
