Kara Healthcare is hiring a Group Finance Controller to lead the financial control function across our multi-site care portfolio. You will direct group reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts while partnering with site leaders to drive cost discipline and accurate forecasting.

You will oversee month-end, budgeting, variance analysis, and working capital management, ensuring robust governance and compliance across the group.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader within multi-site operations.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and consolidation experience.
• Experience within health and social care, healthcare, or regulated environments desirable.
• Commercially astute with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Detail focused with high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Aufgaben

• Lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts preparation.
• Oversee month end processes, management accounts, and performance analysis across all homes.
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and governance frameworks are embedded.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Support cashflow management and working capital optimisation.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and improve cost control.
• Lead audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.
• Develop, mentor, and strengthen the finance team to ensure high performance and succession planning.
• Support systems improvements and finance process transformation initiatives.
