Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd in Derbyshire is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead the day-to-day finance function across multiple sites within a growing group. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive financial control, accurate reporting and commercially focused decision-making.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, leadership experience, strong Excel and NetSuite knowledge, and the ability to bridge operations with finance to support growth.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as Financial Controller or similar.
• Strong technical and management accounting experience.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Excellent Excel skills and financial modelling.
• Experience with audit, statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• NetSuite and multi-entity/group experience preferred.
• H ospitality or multi-site experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance team and drive improvement.
• Oversee month-end, management accounts, balance sheets, reporting.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and scenario planning.
• Provide commercial analysis to senior leadership.
• Manage external audit, statutory accounts, VAT and compliance.
• Strengthen controls, processes and reporting across the Group.
• Drive systems improvements, automation and data visibility.
• Partner with Operations and senior stakeholders to support growth.
