Job summary

Reiss is seeking a Group Management Accountant to lead the group consolidation, intercompany and FX activities, and statutory reporting for the UK operation. You will partner with Finance and the business to ensure accurate accounting and efficient audit delivery.

You will provide technical accounting guidance, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and support FP&A forecasting and budgeting. London-based role with a focus on group-wide reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in audit practice and supporting statutory reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of group consolidation, intercompany transactions and foreign exchange in a multi-entity business.
• Experience with statutory accounts under FRS 102, Local GAAP and IFRS; IFRS 16 knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Group consolidation process including intercompany transactions and foreign exchange.
• Supporting monthly Group financial reporting and ad hoc analysis requests.
• Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and Local GAAP for subsidiaries, and IFRS for group reporting.
• Supporting statutory reporting including s172, SECR, UK corporation tax and foreign tax matters.
• Owning designated balance sheet accounts and monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
• Coordinating the wider finance team to deliver high-quality balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparing interim and year-end audit deliverables and coordinating audit queries.
• Acting as a technical accounting expert for IFRS 16 lease accounting, FP&A forecasting and budgeting, internal audits.
