Job summary

Monks in London is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to join the S4 - Group Reporting team. This role ensures timely, accurate and compliant financial results, covering monthly close, intercompany eliminations and external reporting.

You will collaborate with global finance, drive process improvements, and support ERP upgrades. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years PQE in group reporting/audit, is ACA/ACCA qualified, and proficient in IFRS and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years PQE in group reporting, audit, or technical accounting with exposure to group consolidations.
• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA).
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of consolidation systems is an advantage.
• Relevant industry experience is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with local and global finance teams.
• Able to work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close process including review of divisional TB submissions and cash flows within the consolidation system.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliation and elimination process.
• Collaborate with finance teams to meet financial reporting requirements.
• Provide technical accounting support on complex topics.
• Support year-end and half-year external reporting.
• Prepare financial statement sections and review submissions from global teams.
• Support one-off projects such as ERP/reporting tool implementations or upgrades.
• Continuously improve reporting outputs, processes and systems.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
