ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking to recruit a Group Communications Coordinator to join the Marketing & PR team in London, which forms part of the larger New Business team.

In this role, you will be focusing on B2B marketing and comms specifically for our VCCP agencies across the group - so you'll be working closely with all parts of the business and have the opportunity to build fantastic working relationships.

No day on the team is the same. You will support the running of the group’s digital channels as well as assist our marketing and PR efforts, logging any press coverage, helping to keep our calendar up to date, and supporting on campaign launches.

We work in a very fast-paced environment and are looking for someone that is keen to learn, highly creative, and confident. You’ll need to be a self-starter and social native (have a genuine interest in TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram and X). You will be key in helping the comms team run smoothly on a day-to-day basis!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Media outreach: Using Agility and Google you will monitor and track media in print and online, including newspapers, magazines, broadcast, news and blogs for any brand coverage across the group and our companies and specialist capabilities.
• Media performance - You will help to compile informative and insightful reports and assist in helping the team with key PR strategies.
• Journalist engagement: Build and maintain relationships with leading marketing titles. Coordinate and manage PR mailouts for journalists.
• Team coordination: Help to manage administrative aspects of the team, such as regularly updating and developing the global communications and content calendars.
• Track deliverables, take meeting notes and follow up with action points for all team meetings.
• Assist in the day-to-day running of VCCP social media channels and caption creation (Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok).
• Support the team with community management, replying to social media DMs and comments to help build our community.
• Help with copywriting and content creation that showcases VCCP’s campaigns, culture and industry news.
• Assist with the creation and publishing of written materials such as website content, news stories and other promotional materials.
• Sharing news and campaigns with the new business team and lead on gathering and publishing out internal global newsletter.
• Assist the New Business & Event Executive for internal events from time to time.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• You are either a university graduate or have at least a year’s worth of work experience.
• You have strong writing skills and you are a whizz at spelling and grammar, with meticulous attention to detail.
• You will have a love for all things social and be confident using TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin and X as well as being active on social yourself.
• You must be personable, and be willing to build strong relationships and be able to communicate well with others.
