Job summary

SHY Aviation is a London-based private jet charter broker expanding its Group Charter capability to handle large-group air travel for corporate, sports, entertainment and leisure clients.

The Group Charter Manager will lead this new business line, combining sales, broker duties and operational oversight, reporting to the Head of Sales. Hybrid work with client-facing travel to support charters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aircraft charter broking or related aviation sales.
• Ability to travel worldwide on short notice.
• Existing relationships with corporate travel buyers, sports team operations staff, tour managers, or event organisers.
• Working knowledge of large-cabin/airliner-type aircraft, operator markets and charter contracting.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working outside standard hours when a charter requires it.
• Highly organised with attention to detail across contracts and compliance.
• Self-starting and target-driven with ambition to build a new business line.
• Experience in sport, music/touring or events logistics.
• Familiarity with charter management/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and convert new group charter opportunities across corporate, sport, music/entertainment and leisure segments.
• Source suitable aircraft (19+ seats) from SHY's operator network and negotiate rates and terms.
• Manage the full charter lifecycle from quotation through booking to flight completion.
• Coordinate logistics: baggage, catering, ground transport, VIP handling and bespoke requirements.
• Maintain compliant flight briefs, manifests and post-flight invoicing.
• Represent SHY at industry, sport and entertainment events to grow the client pipeline.
