Job summary

JSS is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to support group reporting, statutory compliance, and consolidation across multiple entities. You will work with finance teams and senior stakeholders to enable strategic decision-making.

The role requires ACA/ACCA or equivalent, strong IFRS knowledge, and experience with consolidated financial statements in a multi-entity environment. Hybrid working and a rewarding bonus scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent with practice training.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Exposure to audit processes and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly group consolidation process across multiple entities.
• Prepare consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Ensure reporting is IFRS-compliant and in line with company policies.
• Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with corporation tax, VAT and other compliance obligations.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely actions.
