PTSG Group is seeking an accomplished Group Accountant to own the monthly consolidation, fixed assets, VAT returns and group reporting within a large, acquisition-led business. Based in Castleford with hybrid working up to two days from home, you will strengthen financial controls, standardise accounting practices and support year-end audit and acquisition accounting across multiple subsidiaries.

Competenze

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong track record in group accounting.
• Hands-on responsibility for monthly consolidations and group reporting.
• Experience in consolidation, VAT, fixed assets and statutory reporting.

Mansioni

• Manage the monthly Group consolidation process and adjustments.
• Drive a timely, controlled period-end close.
• Oversee the Group’s fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Ensure central accounting transactions (tax, insurance, professional fees) are recorded accurately.
• Complete or review balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Support acquisition accounting for new businesses joining the Group.
• Liaise with external auditors and assist with consolidated accounts.
• Contribute to improving accounting processes and financial controls.
