Job summary

JSS is seeking a part-qualified or qualified accountant to support Group Consolidation Manager and Group Financial Controller with statutory consolidation and external reporting. The role requires exposure to group reporting, intercompany accounting and IFRS, with ideal candidates coming from an audit or practice background and strong technical accounting knowledge.

Hybrid working is offered (2 days in office) with study support for ACCA/CIMA.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant with exposure to group reporting and statutory consolidation.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Group's intercompany matrix and balance records.
• Reconcile, investigate and eliminate intercompany balances across the Group.
• Partner with regional finance teams to resolve intercompany discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly Group statutory consolidations.
• Support the external audit process.
• Assist with acquisition accounting and integration activities.
• Prepare IFRS-related analyses and technical accounting papers.
• Prepare quarterly and annual compliance reporting.
• Produce lender reporting and covenant information.
• Contribute to Group Finance projects and process improvements.
