Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant.

About the role

As the Group Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial results across the group. Your duties include supporting month-end close, cash flow reporting, board pack preparation, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and being a key contact for external auditors. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating with operational teams to bring financial data to life. There are significant opportunities to participate in projects supporting the Group’s growth.

• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts for multiple trading entities and cost centres.
• Ensure accurate intercompany transactions and eliminations across the Group.
• Handle monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Collaborate with operational finance teams to gather financial data and understand performance drivers.
• Establish processes to monitor and maintain consolidated cash flows, funding management, and scenario planning.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and mid-year reforecasts in partnership with operational finance teams.
• Prepare and deliver Group and entity financial statements and coordinate statutory audits.
• Assist in preparing Board Reports with regular financial insights.
• Support the setup of new corporate entities for acquisitions, including opening bank accounts and managing KYC and tax documents.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance existing processes and develop new systems.
• Coordinate with external investors, tax specialists, and other stakeholders on financial matters.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), newly qualified or with up to three years of experience.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate, or multi-site businesses is preferred.
• Experience in preparing Group Consolidations.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
