Description:

The role of the Global Financial Accountant will be to provide internal financial accounting capability to the Global Finance team and to manage all external third-party financial stakeholders (notably the auditors, tax advisors, HMRC/IRS, insurance brokers, bankers)

Key Responsibilities:

The role contains the following responsibilities:

• Lead external financial reporting for the Kallidus Group of Companies Included but not limited to statutory, corporate, and taxation accounts.
• Maintain all other statutory, federal, state and local filing requirements in all jurisdictions of business activity.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated company management accounts.
• Lead the annual group audit process while maintaining close working relationship with external financial advisors.
• Responsible for optimising the corporate structure of the group from both a legal, financial, and tax perspective.
• Assume the lead on group treasury management.
• Manage all global business insurance requirements.
• Assist with the any financial M&A process.
• Build and maintain effective and enjoyable relationships within the organization and its external partners.

Required Skills, Experience and Behaviours:

• Qualified accountant (2+ years post qualification).
• Audit/public practice accounting experience required.
• International statutory financial reporting and taxation experience required.
• Chartered accounting background preferred.
• Exposure to M&A and transaction experience highly desirable.
• Strong excel and modelling skillset.
• Systems experience with Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Vena a plus.
• Values efficiency over the comfort of process.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
