A leading company in London is seeking a Group Accountant to join their central finance team. The role involves high standards of financial reporting, technical accounting issues, and collaboration with senior stakeholders. About the Role:
RELX is seeking a Group Accountant to join our central Group Finance Team who are primarily located in London on The Strand. You will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of various financial reporting information, mainly for external reporting purposes, but also to support RELX’s performance management and decision support.
The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and progress, leadership potential and be looking for new challenges in the next stage of their career.
About the Team:
Reporting primarily to the Consolidation Manager, this well-rounded role will involve being the primary contact for technical accounting issues across the group, such as the implementation of new accounting standards, and being a key person in the quarterly reporting consolidation process. The work will involve assisting various senior stakeholders, including the Head of Reporting and Group Financial Controller, exposure to the Group CFO together with working with business area finance teams across the group.
Location:
London, The Strand.
On average, 3 days a week will be expected in the office, with this increasing if required during busier reporting periods.
