A high-growth IT/Tech business is seeking a driven Financial Accountant to join their EMEA finance team. The role involves producing accounts for several entities across EMEA, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance. Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be part- or fully-qualified accountants. This position offers fully remote working and generous annual leave.

Job Overview:

On behalf of a high-growth IT / Tech business, we are seeking a driven Financial Accountant - EMEA to join a high-performing EMEA finance team, responsible for producing accounts for a number of entities across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month-end close, including journals and commentary
• Preparing financial statements and month-end packs
• Balance Sheet reconciliation and review to ensure accuracy
• Reviewing intercompany process to ensure balances match
• Supporting year-end audit process and queries
• Reviewing and analysing the annual report and statutory accounts
• Partnering with the commercial team, analysing project revenue, costs and profitability
• Reviewing WIP, including reporting, analysis and variances
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes
• Consulting with local accountants in the region
• Monthly and quarterly VAT returns

Key Requirements:

• Part- or Fully- Qualified Accountant or QBE (or equivalent)
• Experience operating in an EMEA Accounting function would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong Excel and ERP skills
• Must be based in the UK and have RTW
