Job summary

Laing O'Rourke Delivery – ADS Didcot is seeking a Groundworks Supervisor to oversee groundworks, drainage, ducting and civils activities on site in Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will coordinate site teams, manage drawings and documentation, and drive safe delivery to programme while liaising with management and other work fronts.

The role requires CSCS and experience supervising civil works, with focus on health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising groundworks or civil engineering teams.
• Strong background in drainage, ducting and general civils works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and site documentation.
• Good planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate groundworks activities across the project.

Experience / Skills Required

• Proven experience supervising groundworks or civil engineering teams.
• Strong background in drainage, ducting and general civils works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and site documentation.
• Good planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and direct workforce teams.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Relevant supervisory experience within construction or civil engineering projects.
• First Aid qualification advantageous.
