Job summary

Laing O'Rourke Delivery – ADS Didcot is seeking a Groundworker to join our site team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will perform groundworks, drainage, ducting and concrete tasks, ensuring work aligns with drawings and site instructions, while maintaining safety standards.

Required: CSCS card, full right to work in the UK, willingness to travel to project location; plant tickets are advantageous. Competitive pay dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous groundworks experience within construction or civil engineering environments.
• Experience in drainage, ducting, concrete works and general civils activities.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, drainage, ducting, concreting and finishing works.
• Assist with site preparation and general construction activities.
• Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
• Operate small plant and equipment where authorised.
• Follow directions from Site Supervisors and Management.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
• Attend site briefings, toolbox talks and training as required.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards at all times.
